• Angina is chest pain or disconmfort which spreads to neck, jaw or left arm.
  • Heart attack is injury or death of part of heart muscle ( Myocardial Infaction).
  • When blood supply to heart is cut off for more than 30 minutes then heart muscle starts dying and heart attack begins.
  • Many times the chest pain may be associated with sweating and palpitation and nausea.
  • Some people may experience heart burn or indigestion type feelings.
  • A few patients feel ‘run down” and experience fatigue or shortness of breath.
  • Rarely people may feel jaw pain, toothache or pain in back
  • Immediate steps to be taken
  • Chew a tablet of aspirin.Take sorbitrate if available.
  • Call a friend or ambulance ASAP.
